There are unique beliefs and practices not seen elsewhere in the world practiced in the religion. Currently there are only 2 religious/theocratic/confessional states in Globecraft with one following this religion (Germano-Celtic tribal confederation)- nations like that one which follow this religion are known as "Nunarneqimit" or in English: "lands of Nunarneq"

The most important belief in Nunarneq is, hence the name, the belief in the "nunarneq" a being that can be described as the collective consciousness of all things in the world, it speaks to you in gut feelings, instincts, dreams and many more similar things
There is also the belief of the "ancient glade" or the "land of Nunarneq" a sacred location hidden somewhere in norway

During this time the people forgot and replaced their cultural identity due to events in the middle histories, some of these "sinfrempa" lived in Greenland,
Migration from Greenland to Etiopia[]
And in Greenland these people lived in the Fascist Republic Of Greenland where the strong and popular leader SweetCaraculo was facing complex diplomatic challenges with Marovia and Skardi and eventually sold the nation for unknown payment. What was unknown at the time however, was the fact that Caraculo told thousands of people to follow him to the horn of Africa where he would found the Peoples Republic Of Etiopia. All of these people were meant to be Caraculists who followed Norse Mythology, however one of the mailmen got a thought planted by the Nunarneq to hand the letters out to the social lower class of the "sinfrempa", these peoples grandkids would later form the earliest modern form of the religion, but we're skipping quite a few things.
Skilpaddeland[]
The peoples Republic Of Etiopia treated "sinfrempa" far worse than they did back in Greenland; this was why when the pact of Peqatigiit, Union Of Nunaat and the railway connecting the 2 halves of the new nation were created most "sinfrempas" with enough money left, some however didn't have enough money and slowly died, this was when Skilpaddeland was created, the laws there were some of the loosest in the world and it became a safe haven for "sinfrempas".
The Great Atortussiat[]
The Great Atortussiat was when the alcohol companies drugged everyone and is what let to everything from Pre-Interim World to the Second Civ Event including the first Civ Event and the Orion World, however because they were addicted to alcohol they drank 1 pint of 95% Everclear Grain each... ONCE FOR EVERY NATION, obviously this led them to forget a few nations, and they collapsed in their boats right by the shores of Skilpaddeland.
Saftlumqik Empire[]
It is important to remember that the people of Skilpaddeland were mostly Greenlandic, followed Viking customs and religion, and that in the next 100 years the religion of Nunaqism will be rediscovered and everyone will either be converted or slaughtered. The people started to build a new empire that would grow beyond anything seem before in recorded history, in this time technology exploded and eventually social issues like racism ended, this should seem like a utopia right? but in fact it made the Nunarneq so mad that it put the entire religion into a unknown amount of peoples dreams and kept on referencing said dreams in daily life. These people grossly misinterpreted the texts and grew extremist beliefs regarding the religions nature, these people formed terrorist organisations that hoped to kill everyone other than "sinfrempas"; the most notable of which being the Nunaqisa Objective Liberation Front. They developed biotech that would change people's thoughts. In the end these extremist organisations were gifted leadership of the empire.
The post "goofrempa" morning[]
With the Newfound power, the extremist Nunaqists planned a massacre of all the goofrempa (opposite of "Sinfrempa" or other people) It became known as the "post Sinfrempa morning" because it would be executed at night and the morning would be the first without Sinfrempa. The plan was to send a survey to all people asking them normal survey questions, then the respondents who were "goofrempas" received a pipe bomb in the middle of the night.
Renaissance[]
In the following years after the massacre the government became far less extremist and the first sign of winter was to be seen as a day of mourning for what happened, however the nation/religion (the new constitution said that religion is life and existence so everything is religion) was still far more what could be described as "high church" then it is now and still had a few things wrong, like the need to industrialise being one of the most important things and the belief that you can only be perfect by following the religion. Some theologists realised these inaccuracies and started to write about them, this lead to a revival of the beliefs, art and culture of the first and second histories, the government liked this change until the talk of ending the nation, living simple lives as nomads and believing the tragedy of the great Atortussiat being a blessing in disguise began. The last president-Éabha Rusnlegr wanted to end this when the Nunarneq spoke to her in the form of shower thoughts in... Well.. the shower telling her that they speak the truth and she must listen to then, it also told her of a plan we will be taking about soon.
The First Nunarneqist Plan[]
This plan describes how the religion (and any nations who follow it) should function before and after the Casualties of The Great Atortussiat woke up, it involved everyone living a far more primitive lifestyle. Too complete this change all the achievements and technologies of the Saftlumqik Empire were buried underground in bunkers all around the globe, many of these deteriorated and were found later on; leading to many of the technologies now seen on the server in ew4. It is very possible that what has been uncovered is nothing compared to what might be hidden deep below our feet as most of this was top secret and, in accordance with the plan, forgotten.
Some say the church of Nunarneq knows more than they tell... we will not comment on this and kindly ask to refrain from further inquiries...
The awakening[]
Around 700 years later at the start of the ice age map, when the people who were drugged 1,000 years ago finally woke up, the Nunaqists slowly started their plan; slowly, because they were spread around the globe with limited and primitive technology. It took 50 years to formally create the Germano-Celtic Land Of Nunarneq.

History Of Nation[]
The nation was founded by Inotna on the 16th of November 2023 However its roots can be traced all the way back to The Socialist Republic of Greenland, The Sultanate of Garabogazköl, The Duchy of Skardi, and all the nations that were formed as a result of these, notably the Confederation of Avanar and Skildpaddeland, the latter of which is where we descend from.
The Great Atortussiat[]
The Great Atortussiat was a event that took place a week before ew3 ended, it consisted of all the alcohol companies like Immiaq mead drugging everyone on the server, with the last week of anarchy was just the first part of the trip everyone was on. then everyone fell into a deep state of unconsciousness that they would not recover from for 1000 years, that is except the skildpaddelandians, who survived due to their parts of the Nunarneq being more pure than the others.

After the Great Atortussiat our ancestors-the Skildpadelandians thought it was a great misfortune, after it, they built the greatest empire the world had ever seen. 300 years later, however, they realised that they would never get to the Nunaqistic age like this and that the Great Atortussiat was in fact a blessing, so they became nomadic peoples, gave up the technology, and became more and more perfect. After another 300 years however, they were perfect but the casualties of the Atortussiat were not. For 704 years we have been waiting for the casualties to wake, now that they have we'll tell them of the Nunaqistic age, WE WILL ALL BE PERFECT UNDER THE PRISTINE GUIDANCE OF WE NUNANERQ, WE WILL ALL BE FREE FROM SUPPRESSION OF OTHER PEOPLE, WE WILL ALL BECOME ONE WITH THE IDEA OF WE NUNANERQ, WE WILL ALL BE CONNECTED!
